- Rangability 40:1 for both steam and water
- Water injection in Vena contracta zone
- High turbulence in expanding steam is ideal for optimum evaporation of spray water
- A rough control of water i.e. instantaneous change in water flow corresponding to steam flow is possible through the stroke of the plug.
- The final temperature control is realised through the water injection valve
- Multistage trim (2-5 steps) design ensures subcritical pressure reduction from 0-100% capacity for all stages. The subcritical pressure reduction is an important quality feature.
- Water-steam fog absorbs noise, resulting reduction in noise level upto 6dB
